Farmer Arthur Duckett has a soft spot for his young bullock. Hopefully, the feeling is mutual - because The Field Marshal towers over him at 6ft 3in and weighs 3,000lb. The six-year-old Charolais, pictured with 5ft 8in Mr Duckett, boasts vital statistics that put him way above the common herd and on course for the record books.
He is expected to pile on another 650lb in the next year alone. That will take him past the current British record-holder, his former stablemate The Colonel, who stood 6ft 5in tall and weighed 3,500lb. He died in 2005. The Field Marshal, who is still the bullock equivalent of a late teenager, will not be fully grown until he is eight. Mr Duckett, 78, bought him two years ago and decided to keep him as a pet when he realised he was a one-off. He said: "I've been keeping large cattle for 40 years now and I knew as soon as I saw him that he was going to be very large.
"When he's fully matured, I reckon he'll be the biggest bull in the country." He says The Field Marshal is "very good-tempered" but added: "When he gets angry he can do some real damage." He shares a field on Mr Duckett's farm in Alstone, Somerset, with a 5ft 6in Highland steer and a small Friesian.
His owner puts the gigantic steer's incredible size down to his parentage, appetite and the fact that he has been neutered, which boosts his growth.
He added: "At the moment, he is worth at least £1,000. "But he likes me and I like him and I wouldn't want to break up that relationship by selling him.

New Toad, in Purple
Paul Ouboter/Conservation International.
This toad may be a new species to science. It’s from the genus Atelopus, and was discovered during a follow-up survey of the Nassau plateau in mid 2006 by Surinamese scientists Paul Ouboter and Jan Mol. A population of these toads would be of significant concern, especially as it was found at the more disturbed of the two survey sites.

Shark Attack Near The South Africian
And you think you had a bad day at work!!" Although this looks like a picture from a Hollywood movie, it is in fact a real photo taken near the South Africian coast during a military exercise by the British Navy.
It has been nominated by GEO as "The Photo of the Year".
Well we hate to burst everybodies bubble, but this is a doctored picture and never really happen. If you look close you can see the bridge in the background is actually the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransico, USA.

The Tomb in Kashmir
“Nearby is situated the stone of the grave which, according to the people, is the prophet's who arrived from a far off place during ancient times. Anointed for Kashmir: This spot is famous as the resting place of a messenger: I have read in an ancient book that a prince from a foreign land arrived here and engaged himself in piety and prayers [and] became a messenger of God for the Kashmiri people. In that ancient book his name is mentioned as Yuz Asaf.”
Why were these feet carvings made and placed next to the tomb in Kashmir?

"..and I was called Isa-Al Masih.'"

Mothman From Russel, Kentucky
A couple of years ago, while looking up information on the Mothman, I came across a message board with a post about a couple from Russel, Kentucky, that had been on a walk with their dogs. They lived on the border of Kentucky and Ohio, and had taken their digital camera along to take pictures of their family pets.
While on their walk along the water, they looked toward the scenic view of the bridge that connected the two states. What they saw, they couldn’t explain. It was crawling along the rafters at the top of the bridge.
