Nature Phenomena White Terrace
New Zealand's Pink and White Terraces, or Otukapuarangi ("fountain of the clouded sky") and Te Tarata ("the tattooed rock") in Māori, were considered a natural wonder until they were destroyed by a violent volcanic eruption in 1886. 2. Cave of the Crystals
Cave of the Crystals or Giant Crystal Cave located at the mining sites in Chihuahua, Mexico. The main chamber contains giant selenite crystals, some of the largest natural crystals ever found.
3. Red Tides
Red tide is a common name for a phenomenon more correctly known as an algal bloom (large concentrations of microorganisms), an event in which estuarine, marine, or fresh water algae accumulate rapidly in the water column and results in discoloration of the surface water. A natural phenomena occurs because gathering of microorganisms in the coastal area from the mouth water, sea or river water and make the water purple and red.
